Robert joined the firm in 2023 after a couple of decades of practicing tax in private practice, corporate and governmental environments. Prior to joining the firm, Robert served as tax counsel in several southcentral Pennsylvania law firms and as Deputy Secretary for Taxation with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. While at the Department, Robert furnished executive oversight to bureaus processing corporation tax reports, sales and use tax returns, personal income tax returns, inheritance tax returns, realty transfer tax statements and motor fuel tax reports. Robert began his tax career working for the Internal Revenue Service in its Examination Division and thereafter in its Appeals Division. Robert has also worked for AMP Incorporated/TE Connectivity in its Tax Department, and for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He has presented at regional seminars in the past for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tax Executives Institute, and Council on State Taxation.
With an emphasis on the federal and state tax issues associated with business formation, operation, restructuring and succession planning, Robert assists clients in achieving the goal of minimizing their overall tax burden throughout the business life-cycle and with personal wealth transfers. When not in the office, you can find him swimming, biking or running in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area.
